About

Water is one of the most essential things to life. We need water to live, however unfortunately, billions of people around the world do not have access to clean water to drink and for sanitization. This is of course a horrible problem which we have decided to investigate. Water insecurity has many negative impacts on the communities it affects. Lack of water or clean water can deteriorate health (both physical and mental), in some instances resulting in death, makes food prices higher, disproportionately affects women leading to women being uneducated, etc. All of these factors combined constrain economic growth, leaving large communities to be unable to develop in further areas, as the focus has to be on survival.
